No Dog Poop Trash Bin Stickers Set of 4, FREE SHIPPING
If you are a dog owner, would you mind if someone dumped their dog’s poop bag in your trash bin?
Since it was garbage day, and the event occured at night, that means the poop bag would remain in the neighbor’s trash bin for several days (a week in my Baltimore neighborhood), until the next collection. While a person’s trash may no longer be their property, their bin is, and thus you have no right to put your dog’s poop in it — no matter how securely sealed it may be.
Cant believe all you people think someone else’s dog poop is ok to go into your trash can. YOU are all nuts, retarded, dumb…perhaps a combination of all three. just because this brave lady was willing to stand up to someone, (unlike the chicken sh-ts around here) you insult her.

Is it OK to drop dog poop in a neighbor's garbage can
It is unlawful for anyone not authorized by the property owner or occupant to deposit any material in any solid waste container on private property or on a sidewalk or a planting strip abutting private property.I really don’t understand the objection to throwing dog waste in other people’s trash bins. It’s a garbage can, for Pete’s sake. I would much rather someone throw their dog waste in my bin than leave it on the grass or sidewalk. There are very few public bins in our neighborhood. Hi Nola, it happens to us too, we can’t put the recycling or yard waste the night before pick up because people put dog poop in it. Yes, we take it out, otherwise we will get fined or the recycling is a waste. As for WallyD’s comment that garbage bins are not public and that, “people should take their dog poop home and put it in their own garbage” is crazy to me. I have heard this said before. Of course they are not public, but they are full of TRASH that presumably you will never sift through again. I totally understand not wanting a sign posted on your lawn. Why not try pasting a sign on the lid of the bin saying, “RECYCLING- DOG POOP MUST GO IN THE TRASH”"finally moved my trash can into the garage because someone was using it, day in and day out, to deposit their bag of dog poop. Their sense of entitlement was astonishing to me."
I bet your neighbors are very glad you don't leave your trash can out in front all week anymore. Leaving the bins at the curb after trash pickup is tacky.
While it's out there, it's a piece of public property resting on public property, so don't get all worked up when a member of the public uses it for its intended purpose.
